Annual Day & Annual Exhibition, Oct 2016


Mr R J Makadia,
IAS, Collector and District Magistrate,
Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar was established on 08 Jul 1961 as one among the first five Sainik Schools in the country. In this long successful journey it was a proud feeling for the Balachadians to celebrate  55th Annual Day on 22 Oct 2016 in the School Campus.

The Chief Guest of the function was Mr R J Makadia, IAS, Collector and District Magistrate joined by other dignitaries like Mr. J B Vasoya, Mamlatdar (Jodiya) and Mr. Dileep singh Vaghela, Sarpanch ( Balachadi).

On this occasion he laid wreath on the shourya stambh, the war memorial of martyrs. Annual Day Cultural program was organized in School Auditorium which started with the Lighting of Lamp and the Principal’s annual report. A Presentation  of Annual report highlighted the mission of the school- to provide quality education, school administration's  constantly effort to improve and introduce innovations in the existing system, such as providing better infrastructure, adopting new teaching methodologies and updating the existing facilities.

After Principal’s report different types of performances were given by school cadets, which include Prayer, English & Hindi Skit,Mime and Dance. These programs were witnessed and appreciated by all VIPs, Guest, staff and parents.On this important day Art & Craft,Music,  Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Computer exhibitions were organized.

The Chief Guest presented the prizes, trophies and certificates to the individual winners and champion houses in various co-curricular and extra curricular activities for the year 2015-16.  The Chief Guest in his address appreciated the cadet’s performance and presentation and congratulated all those who had won the prizes.  He also inspired Cadets to work hard and to take up the responsibilities to become fine defence officers in future.

With the hit performance of cultural show, the Balachadians proved that they can excel in every field of life. The visiting dignitaries and parents were highly impressed by the cadet’s performances and preparations.
