inaugurated newly constructed Administrative Block
at
Sainik School Balachadi on 08 July 2017 ( Raising Day)
Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Minister for Revenue, Education (Primary, Secondary & Adult), Higher & Technical Education, Legislative & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Gujarat visited Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar on 08 July 2017.
On the occasion of 57th School Raising Day, the Chief Guest inaugurated the newly constructed Administrative Block of the school. Shri R J Makadia, Collector Jamnagar, various State Government dignitaries, OBSSA Members, PWD Officials, Principal, Officers, staff and cadets were also present in the Inauguration Ceremony.
On his arrival, the Chief Guest laid wreath on Shaurya Stambh - the War Memorial of Martyrs where he was briefed by Cadet Yagna Pathak. It was followed by a befitting ‘Guard of Honour’ to the Chief Guest by the cadets. Later, he was briefed about the school and its surroundings on sand model by Cadet Jenish Solanki. It was followed by inauguration of New Administrative Block.
The Chief Guest was also taken on Campus Round where he visited Hostels, Cadets Mess, School Dairy, Agriculture Farm and Sports facilities.
After the Campus Round, Col A K Sharma, Principal, Sainik School Balachadi formally welcomed the Chief Guest followed by felicitation. Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Government of Gujarat addressed the staff and cadets in school auditorium.
While addressing the gathering the Chief Guest highlighted the importance of Soldier and Teacher in a society. He emphasized the need of nurturing multi skill personality in cadets and inspired them to work hard and take up the responsibilities to become worthy defence officers in future. He urged the students to make the optimum use of all the facilities provided to hone their multi skills and do not waste time as it is the golden time of their life to make their dreams come true. He also advised cadets to be brave and patriotic.
Sainik School Balachadi is having all the infrastructural facility to cater the need of the cadets in achieving their goal. All the required infrastructural facility is provided by the State Government.
The Chief Guest was highly impressed by the overall infrastructural development and functioning of school towards achieving ultimate goal.
The visit culminated with the group photograph with staff and school cadet appointments.
