FOOTBALL
TOURNAMENT 2024-25 CONCLUDED IN
SAINIK SCHOOL BALACHADI, JAMNAGAR
Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar hosted the
‘All India Sainik Schools Group ‘G’ Football Tournament 2024-25’ from 15 to 20
Apr 2024. 192 students of four Sainik Schools from different states of the
country - Sainik School Bijapur (Karnataka), Sainik School Chandrapur
(Maharashtra), Sainik School Satara (Maharashtra) and Sainik School Balachadi
(Gujarat) participated in this mega event. It was held for Girls U-17 category
and for Boys U-15 and Boys U-17 category.
In Girls U-17
category, Sainik School Balachadi was declared as the Champions. Cadet Haasini
Reddy of Sainik School Chandrapur was declared as the ‘Best Player’ and Cadet
Divya of Sainik School Balachadi was adjudged as the ‘Best Goal Keeper’.
Sainik School
Satara and Sainik School Chandrapur were declared as the Champions in Boys U-17
category and Boys U-15 category respectively. ‘Best Player’ and ‘Best Goal Keeper’ in Boys
U-17 category were awarded to Cadet Aayush Kumar of Sainik School Satara and
Cadet Ankur of Sainik School Balachadi respectively. While in Boys U-15
category ‘Best Player’ and ‘Best Goal Keeper’ were awarded to Cadet Akshat
Ranjan of Sainik School Chandrapur and Cadet Harsh Vajpayee of Sainik School
Satara respectively.

Closing Ceremony which was a grand event with March Past by the participated
teams and Band Display of the School.
On this
occasion, the Chief Guest gave away the prizes and trophies to the Winners.
While addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest said that in sports more than
winning, participation and conduct matters. She also congratulated the winners
and the participants for exhibiting true sportsmanship.
All the
participants exhibited competitive spirit and true sportsmanship during the five
days long event. It provided a platform for participating staff and Cadets to
share their thoughts, knowledge, culture and best practices with one another.
The ceremony
came to an end with the Vote of Thanks proposed by School Cadet Sports Vice
Captain Cadet Deepanshu Kumar.
