INSPECTING OFFICER COMMODORE RK SHARMA VISITED SAINIK SCHOOL BALACHADI

 Commodore RK Sharma, Inspecting Officer, Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi visited Sainik School Balachadi from 07-10 May 2024.  On his arrival the Chief Guest laid wreath on Shaurya Stambh - the War Memorial of martyrs and was given a befitting welcome with a Guard of Honour by the Cadets. Later, he was briefed about the School and its surroundings on Sand Model by Cadet Dhruvil Modi.

Principal Col Shreyash Mehta briefed him on the functioning of the School in detail. The Inspecting Officer inspected the ongoing infrastructural developments, visited the various Houses, laboratories, Library, Leaders Gallery, SSB training area, obstacle course etc and appreciated the training facilities available in the School.

On this occasion, a special assembly was organized in School auditorium which was well coordinated by Cadet Jash and Cadet Ananya. Cadets stole the heart of audience with their exceptional performance in the form of Bharat Natyam performed by Cadet Jiya Doshi, mime on highlighting the importance of water in our life, Garba Dance and beautiful patriotic Hindi poem on ‘Azadi’ delivered by Cadet Raman.

The Chief Guest in his address appreciated the Cadets’ performance and congratulated the participants. He motivated the cadets to work hard to achieve their goal in life and join NDA.

He interacted with the Cadets and staff and planted saplings in the School.  The Inspecting Officer appreciated the commendable efforts of the School administration and staff in creating a vibrant and conducive environment of Sainik School Balachadi.
